On March 1, 2022, the Department of Software, Digital Media, Cybersecurity, Defense Digital Convergence, and Artificial Intelligence Convergence, which belonged to the College of Information and Communications, established the College of Computing and Informatics to cultivate practical convergence talents based on software and artificial intelligence.
The Department of Software is rooted in the Department of Computer Engineering in 1981, the Department of Digital Media was established in 1998, the Department of Cybersecurity was established in 2015, the Department of Defense Digital Convergence in 2015, and the Department of Artificial Intelligence Convergence in 2020. These departments are designed to flexibly adapt to the social demands of the software sector.
The graduate school operates departments for high-quality human resources and innovative research in advanced software fields such as artificial intelligence, AI convergence network, cybersecurity, knowledge and information engineering, digital media, life media cooperative, and defense digital convergence.
Software, artificial intelligence, security, digital content, and future battlefield technologies are the major technologies that will lead the digital transformation era. College of Computing and Informatics will actively strive to cultivate the ability of students to actively solve problems encountered in the field as talents who will lead the digital transformation era.
