Since its foundation in 1973, Ajou University has been guided by three fundamental principles: "Respect for Humans," "Seeking Truth from Fact," and "One World, One Family." In particular, the spirit of "One World, One Family" transcends mere exchange; it reflects our vision of a global society moving forward in harmony and mutual progress.
Through my academic and professional journey in macroeconomics, I have developed a deep respect for the power of global partnership. I am committed to leveraging these insights to foster more meaningful cooperation and synergy within our international community. In an increasingly interconnected world, Ajou University has established itself as a leading research institution in Asia. We currently collaborate with over 350 partner universities in 70 countries, hosting more than 3,000 international students annually through diverse programs, including degree courses, exchange programs, and language curricula at our Center for International Education.
The Office of International Affairs (OIA) stands at the forefront of Ajou’s global strategy. Our mission goes beyond administrative support; we serve as a strategic hub that fosters intellectual and human networks across borders. Our dedicated teams—the International Exchange and Cooperation Team, the International Admissions Team, and the Center for International Education—are committed to providing practical and systematic support to ensure that every student and scholar can realize their "Blue Cloud" dreams here at Ajou.
